TIS Electrics has a strong history of corporate social responsibility, entrenching charity work into a large part of its everyday operations, with community alignment considered a key issue when interacting with stakeholders.

TIS Electrics currently supports (click to read more):

  • Food Bank

    • TIS Electrics provides the testing and tagging for Food Bank’s headquarters/depot in Yarraville absolutely free of charge every year.

  • Belgravia Leisure

    • TIS Electrics donates a portion of revenue raised from testing and tagging leisure sites all across Australia back to the Belgravia Foundation.

  • State Schools’ Relief

    • TIS Electrics supports SSR by donating 10% of revenue made from the testing and tagging of select Victorian state schools, back to SSR in the respective school’s name.

  • Centacare

    • TIS Electrics supports Centacare by donating 10% of revenue made from the testing and tagging of participating Ballarat Catholic schools, back to Centacare in the respective school’s name.

Foodbank

TIS Electrics provides the testing and tagging for Food Bank’s headquarters/depot in Yarraville absolutely free of charge every year.

Food Bank is an amazing charity which provides food parcels to our community’s most in-need, easing the burden of buying groceries for those who can least afford it.

Belgravia Foundation

TIS Electrics donates a portion of revenue raised from testing and tagging leisure sites all across Australia back to the Belgravia Foundation.

The Belgravia Foundation is an incredible charity focused on providing disadvantaged and disabled people with the opportunity to go swimming.

State Schools’ Relief

State Schools’ Relief is a charity organisation which provides aid to Victorian State School students, donating school uniforms to financially disadvantaged families.

TIS Electrics supports SSR by donating 10% of revenue made from the testing and tagging of select Victorian state schools, back to SSR in the respective school’s name. In this way, TIS Electrics gives schools the opportunity to give back to an organisation which directly benefits them and their students.

TIS Electrics also provides SSR’s annual testing and tagging for their warehouse and offices free of charge.

Employment Opportunities

 TIS Electrics supports university students as they progress through their studies and respective degrees by providing them with part-time work as Test and Tag Technicians. Not only does this provide them with an income far above the minimum wage, but skills and experience that will provide a critical base for their qualification upon graduation when seeking a job in their chosen career path.

  •  Our technician Tristan studied professional writing at Swinburne University and supported himself through the majority of that degree working as a technician with TIS Electrics. Since graduating, Tristan remains as one of our most senior and capable technicians, as he pursues freelance writing and editing.
